SIA SECURITY COURSES
IN ORDER TO WORK IN THE SECURITY INDUSTRY YOU MUST
HAVE A VALID SIA LICENCE FOR YOUR SECTOR.
All courses are delivered in-house at our training
centre in Wood Green, North London.
WE KEEP OUR CLASSES SMALL – NO MORE THAN 12 TO
A CLASS !
As part of our service to all students we assist with
the completion of their SIA applications. Unlike other
training companies, we make NO charge for this service.
We also offer guidance on entering the security industry,
which companies may be interested in receiving CV’s
and how best to network to build a client base.
For SIA licence holders, we offer a range of courses
which complement their current skills base and are invaluable
for continuous personal development. See below
DOOR SUPERVISOR
This Level 2 course is delivered over 4 days and is
a must for anyone who is dealing directly with members
of the public.
This FRONTLINE licence allows you to work at venues
such as pubs, clubs, nightclubs, events, festivals,
shows, exhibitions etc.
Our courses run every week, Monday – Thursday;
we also run courses over consecutive weekends for candidates
who are unable to attend during the week. Our course
fees for the Level 2 Door Supervisor are £110.00.
This fee includes all charges for exams and certificates.

CCTV (PSS)
This Level 2 course is delivered over 4 days and is
a must for anyone who wishes to work in the public space
surveillance sector. It is a specialist subject and
the SIA licence is sector specific. Our courses run
every week, Tuesday – Friday and includes practical
assessments as well as a theory exam. Our fees for the
Level 2 CCTV (PSS) course are £185.00 and includes
all charges for exams and certificates. Click

CLOSE PROTECTION
This is a level 3 course. Our courses are fully booked
until February 2010.
HANDCUFFING
We are the ONLY company which delivers training using
ONLY Home Office approved techniques in both Quik –
Cuffs and Plasti-Cuffs for one set price. The course
costs £160.00 and includes a free set of Plasti-Cuffs
and a key. Our Hand-Cuffing course is certificated.

CONTROL & RESTRAINT
Unlike other training companies, we deliver ONLY Home
Office approved techniques for Control & Restraint.
This is a 1 day course and costs £140.00. Our

OffenderID
In conjuction with Redweb Technologies, Sea-Borne Associates
is proud to offer training in the ONLY ACPO (Association
Of Chief Police Officers) approved DNA tagging spray.
This product provides a complete audit trail, from dispersal
to offender conviction and is only available to trained
security personnel. Our OffenderID course costs £115.00
and includes a canister, carry pouch and police card.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID
This Level 2 course is delivered in 1 day and covers
Level 2 Emergency First Aid. The course is accredited
and certificates are valid for 3 years from date of
issue. Our Emergency First Aid course costs £75.00.
